Fire and Ice: A Spectacular Journey Through Iceland
Discover a land where volcanoes rumble beneath vast glaciers and waterfalls carve through ancient lava fields on our unforgettable Iceland Fire & Ice Tour. This extraordinary adventure showcases the island’s dramatic contrasts, blending raw natural beauty with Nordic culture and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

From thundering cascades and steaming geothermal valleys to glittering ice lagoons and black-sand beaches, this journey captures the very essence of Iceland’s elemental power and serene splendour.

Begin in the colourful capital of Reykjavik, where modern Scandinavian style meets Viking heritage. From here, venture into the legendary Golden Circle, exploring the geological wonders of Thingvellir National Park, where tectonic plates drift apart before your eyes, the erupting hot springs of Geysir, and the mighty waterfall Gullfoss, whose cascading waters plunge dramatically into a rugged canyon.

Travelling along the South Coast, witness glaciers tumbling from volcano-capped mountains and stand in awe before the immense Vatnajökull Glacier. Nearby, the shimmering icebergs of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon drift silently towards the Atlantic, creating one of the country’s most breath-taking natural spectacles.

No journey through Iceland would be complete without immersing yourself in its geothermal magic. Unwind in the mineral-rich waters of the iconic Blue Lagoon, a soothing finale to an adventure shaped by fire, ice and the untamed beauty of the North Atlantic.

This is Iceland at its most powerful and poetic, a land of striking contrasts, unforgettable landscapes and extraordinary moments at every turn.

Car Hire

We have included a 4x4 vehicle, such as a Suzuki Jimny or similar, in your Iceland tour package, perfect for navigating both city streets and Iceland’s rugged, scenic roads. For added peace of mind, we recommend taking out an excess cover car policy to reduce your financial liability in the event of damage.

Flights

This particular tour is quoted included flights. Flight-inclusive packages are arranged for Scenic Car Tours by our sister company, Success Tours (ATOL No. 5114).

Please be aware that flight costs are estimated at the time of booking, and any changes to fares once flights go on sale may result in a flight supplement.

Fees & Insurance

When you collect your hire car you will asked for a credit card to cover an Insurance excess of 3000 Euros. This amount will not be taken or held on your card, although a credit card will still be required for security. In the case of a claim, this is the maximum amount you will have to pay towards the overall cost of any claim in the case of an accident or damage to the vehicle. We therefore recommend that you take out a Excess Cover Policy from your insurer or a third party to cover this amount.
